Little Red

I created this semi-realistic digital painting referencing my own face on a mirror with some artistic liberties.
I started with the line-art straight way, making it look more and more refined and less like a sketch as I developed it. Afterwards, I made a simple colour plan. In my original plan, the hoodie was blue and the eyes grey. However, I did not like the colour of the background clashing so much with those cool tones, and I decided I would make the painting warmer overall, so I changed a few colours. I also added some rendering effects to make the final product pop.

Final digital painting: Added a colour overlay, blurs and a glitch effect.

First colour plan. I decided to change the blue to red and grey eyes to yellow in order to fit the warm tones of the painting.
